Yea, gotta agree with TMC that the timeline does not sync well with this claim at all. That would have to mean Tennessee was negotiating for weeks before UAB officially dropped football. There is just no way they were able to set up a h&h with Baylor, have the SEC nix it, and then replace that game with Bowling Green all in the span of a week.

I suppose it never occurred to you that college football programs would respond to potential sudden schedule needs by negotiating with multiple schools simultaneously, and in advance of certitude of necessity.
