I'm not Mullen. He should have been suspended. I didn't support Mullen on that one. What does that have to do with Kelly repeatedly getting into trouble? P

Nothing
It has everything to do with my point that every coach does what Freeze appears to be doing with their players. They all give as many chances as they can until it comes to a point where they have to do something. Freeze is no different than any other SEC coach.

In terms of violating the sanctity of a religion that allows a repentant serial killer of children to go to heaven but condemns to an eternity of torture the children that never have an opportunity to read the bible.............
I see no conflict here?

I'll sell my look at me Mr. Christian good guy to look good in the press, and then I'll throw my so-called values under the table whenever it suits me or to win. It's fine to play the win at all costs game, but don't bring Christ into it if you aren't playing by His rules all the time not just when it suits yourself.
What rules of Christ is he breaking?

He is breaking God's rules, a couple of which were so important they were etched into stone.

Again, big difference between beating up police, and doing violent acts on a football field. Justin Cox, State DB, was arrested once and he was gone. Starter at our weakest position on the team right before the Egg Bowl. Targeting, fighting, spearing on a football field is no where near beating up on cops or breaking the law.

Domestic violence usually during the season will get you suspended.

Right now none that I know of because I don't know Mr. Freeze. I guess I should have worded it as Christ's values instead of rules. Anyway, he still hasn't said what he'll do so we will wait and see. I should have read Freeze's comments before posting. I'd do the exact same thing. Let the justice system play out and then make a decision

But beating up on cops before you enroll won't?

Sounds like Saban and Pettway.
Ah so like Pettway we can expect Kelly to go back to juco for yet another year and have to jump through a bunch of other hoops to get a second chance (which of course would be at least a third chance for Kelly). Then again I guess its nothing like that all unless you are butthurt about Saban for some other reason.

Why would a Tiger fan be butthurt over Saban?

I'd suggest waiting to see what the legal outcome will be and what Freeze does afterward.

loling @ any fan of an SEC team thinking their program hasn't let players with legal problems play.
We do not allow that at SCAR. We always hold morals, ethics and values over thuggery. We're completely above board in everything we do - honor and integrity above a win-at-all-cost mentality ... that's our mantra and we are well-respected in all circles for it I might add. We don't allow gays in the program either. Gays and thugs, they're all the same.

Same at LSU..
...Unless it's a solid contributor.

What does any of this have to do with pointing out the hypocrisy of the OP? That Saban required an extra step to allow a guy who was involved in an attack and robbery on two fellow students back on the team? I have no problem in second or even third chances...I have a problem with the hypocrisy of this entire thread. But seeing as you are a well known ATPBer, I would expect nothing less.

Are you surprised?
Coach Beaver Face lets the Nkemdiche's run his football program.

Freeze says his program must be a reflection of himself, of his beliefs, of his place in the world. And he is a man of God, the South and football — almighty one and all. “We’re unapologetic,” he says, “about who we are.”

I agree with that. As stated in an above post I jumped to conclusions without reading Freeze's comments . We will eventually find out.

If Kelly is convicted and starts the first game next year, Freeze is open to criticism IMO. Just think the criticism at this point is premature.
