I'm not trying to be ugly, but understanding what something is attempting to do versus understanding how something is actually done in statistics is EVERYTHING. No one said you had to audit it, but how and why things are weighted are crucial to understanding what you are looking at. Where can I find these numbers so one of us can actually understand them?

Well yards per play is a pretty simple, widely used statistic.
F+ is linked in every one of the advanced stats post I post and is at footballoutsiders.com . Also pretty widely used by football people (and very similar to ESPN's FPI system).
Not sure why you are making this out to be some sort of PHD level math that none of us can understand.
