Since he turned down a coordinator spot at USC under Sark yet you think he's going to go to State? Haha no, you're pretty stupid. Don't be blinded by optimism and don't throw stones when you're a fricking moron.

By the way, I heard Jon Gruden is thinking about coming on board to Starkville as the QB Coach. AND stay with me here, the Pope is leaving the Vatican to become the team chaplain. Just rumors I'm hearing. Stay grinding.

I guess they're familiar with each other for a whole 3 weeks?
Are you saying the ties are just coincidental? Or just arguing for the sake of it?

Dude, y'all were throwing out Tony Dungy

That had nothing to do with the fact that they didn't retain him as the HC, right?

Do you even know the circumstances surrounding his situation at USC? I underestimated your stupidity. Which HC jobs is and was he a candidate for? And how does not coaching at all improve his prospects for becoming a candidate?

So he wants to continue to sit at home and not coach at all. Got it.

No sane Ole Miss fan actually thought that. Dungy never considered coming to coach in college much less Ole Miss.
Just like Orgeron isn't looking at becoming a coordinator, much less at State. I'm not being a dick, it's not like Ole Miss is getting Mike Singletary to come take our LB coaching job.
That tool saying I'm an idiot for not thinking Coach O is a candidate is as shortsighted as the dumbass Ole Miss fans that thought Bill Cowher "luvs OXFORD! He comin"

I guess it would be just as far fetched as these, except that Orgeron has visited State a couple different occasions. Spoke at a clinic there. Publically raved at the work ethic he saw from the players and coaches there. And there facilities. And last but not least, is a friend to coach Mullen.

There's a difference in being a Super Bowl winning head coach that is sitting at home because he has to be lured out of retirement by the perfect situation, and a coach that has absolutely no reason to be hired as a HC.

It's not exactly inside information that he is just looking at being a head coach right now. I'm not trying to troll, just be realistic. Are y'all going to fork out $1.2 for him to be your DC because I'm guessing that's the ballpark it would take. Also, while State had a great year, don't you think he would rather be at a Texas, Florida, Alabama, Ohio State type of school IF he took a coordinator job?

Glad the guy calling people idiots doesn't know the difference between there and their
I don't understand why y'all are getting defensive. When you throw out outlandish candidates, you should expect people to tell you it's not going to happen. Just like our coaching search a few years ago.

I really don't understand why Ole Miss fans do not want Coach O anywhere near opposing teams. Y'all are the ones that get defensive any time his name is brought up.

So you're comparing Orgeron as a candidate being on par with Dingy, Singletary, or Cowher named as coaching candidates? You're embarrassing yourself and all OM fans everywhere.

Are State and Ole Miss fans arguing over Coach O? Seriously? YAW, YAW, YAW!!!!

I'm not in a position to know how much we would fork out.

I wasn't aware those schools had DC openings.

Mother of God, you aren't that stupid are you? THAT is what you took from that's post? Your ad hominems to try and mask your inability to follow a post is what is embarrassing.

I'm fine. I'm just trying to bring logic to a thread that belongs on your board if y'all think he's a legitimate candidate. Go ahead and dream but no logical State fan can truly believe he's coming.
