The truth is funny?

I guess if you're too stupid to respond a laugh is the next best option. A&M would gain nothing by beating a shitty Texas team. The only possible outcome is Texas wins and gains a perception advantage in the state.

That they aren't your rival.
You tell me -- you are the ones that just campaigned your arse into a falling apart stadium in a pretty sketcy part of Memphis over Reliant in Houston.
I realize you don't know anything about the Liberty Bowl yet -- but you will.

Only Texas has the political strength to have forced the Texas Bowl to pick another team. They run an entire conference and the life of the Texas Bowl depends on good conference tie ins. Texas Bowl picks A&M??? Well they better start looking for another conference tie in next year because The Texas10 conference is taking their business to another bowl.

Unless you are stupid enough... Sorry I am to lazy to mock you now for how stupid you are, I had a low bar for ranters, even lower for grinders but you managed to still shite it up.

Neither team is good

I see your delusion is on display for the rest of the SEC to witness. We accepted the TX Bowl Bid 2 full hours before the SEC announced their matchups. If we beat you with one of our worst teams ever, including Case frieking McCoy on your field while you fielded a first round QB and a stable of first round O linemen, what do you think your odds are now? You tucked tail and ran, no way around it. Swaghawk down. The lipstick has already worn off of the pig, your coaches are jumping ship, and you are desperately clinging to the reputation of a conference that you have yet to finish higher than 4th even with a heisman trophy winner. from the basement of the B12, you upgraded to the cellar of the SEC while opening up the recruiting grounds to rival schools. Congrats on that.

Yes you do.
Unless you are seriously stupid enough to try to tell me the SEC office didn't WANT aTm vs Texas in the inaugural year of a new bowl in one of the best stadiums in the SEC footprint -- practically in your own back yard in what would have been a huge talking point/hugely watched bowl. You ducked them. Plain and simple.
Attendance and tv viewership took a hit both in the Liberty by you taking it from UT and the Texas by you ducking the Horns.
Alright you backward toothless fricking idiot. We left to go to the hardest fricking side of the hardest fricking conference in the country. We offered to still play them every fricking year despite this. This would have givin them a big out of conference opponent to help their schedule while being in a lesser conference (see TCU and Baylor today). It would have done absolutely nothing for us. We would have had everything to lose. Texas had everything to gain. They said no..I'm taking my toys and going home. Then cried about it... and A&M's the coward? I seriously doubt we ducked anyone..much less a 6-6 Texas team. So to call us cowards when we don't have the final say is the most ignorant statement anyone can make. Particularly when you consider what I just wrote. Not surprising that it's coming from the southeast. Dumb frick.

The Texas Bowl doesn't get to pick the SEC team, Sherlock. The conference picks the teams now in the restructuring.

Which is why it's SEC vs Big12.

Would have made a great opportunity for us to finally lock up a tie-in with the Pac12...

I am my own link. It's common sense.
The SEC chooses those 6 bowls and who participates in them. Lots of last minute shuffling to get you out of there. It happened -- and IDGAF if you fricktards want to deny it or not. As your position as delusional bitches of the big12 takes firm hold of the same spot in the SEC

Don't bother looking for walking-distance hotels. There aren't any in Orange Mound. Also, make sure and pack heat, switch blade, and come with bullet-proof vests. I wouldn't be too careful. Tear gas, smoke grenades, night vision goggles. If you have it, bring it. Memphis doesn't discriminate when it comes to murder-muggings.
