What makes you so sure of this, pray tell?

Simple:

LSU's AD is cheap, while A&M's AD will overpay for so-so results. We will pay more upfront, and pay more for staff. That makes a difference.

LSU's last two coaches were "so-so" hires the day they were made. Both worked out, but Saban at MSU was so-so and Miles at OSU was so-so. Meanwhile Sumlin almost took freaking Houston to a BCS bowl.

Maybe in the long run LSU would be better off, as it is easier to win at LSU. We have the better job though.

Saban and Miles both made long time bottom-feeders relevant in big conferences. Sumlin choked and couldn't even win CUSA.

Show me one publication that lists A&M as a better job than LSU.

Both LSU coordinators are making over a mil.
