Where do y'all think we end up? I was hoping Orange but I doubt it now. Say this weekend Bama, FSU, Oregon, TCU, Baylor, Ohio St all win, will that push us up to 7 or 8? I just hope we get a good bowl and not one of the shite ones like liberty, music city, or Gator. Thoughts?

Let the rest of the games play out.

Be thankful for what we get.

Win that game.

The Orange Bowl is a stretch right now, although I was kinda hoping that's where we would end up too.

Most likely looking at Cotton or Peach Bowl.

Peach pays out 23 million and Cotton is 22.5. Either way, a chunk of money for the SEC. Would be awesome if we got the orange, would allow for another team to slip into a big bowl and get the league a bigger payout. Unfortunately, I really think they are playing the cards a little to ensure the conferences get at least a relatively equal share. Which is garbage because State and OM both deserve big bowls.

Out of the 3, I really, REALLY, don't want to go to Atlanta.

Cotton or Orange would be awesome.

Really?

I'd rather have my yard pass be for Miami than Dallas. Besides, TCU or Baylor would be in the cotton. Our secondary, well, I'd rather our D-line against a triple option.

Ill go to any game that we do not play Georgia Tech in. I fricking hate GT and they do not interest me at all. I want to play Ohio State. Or FSU....if we had won the egg bowl they would be at #5

Peach or Cotton. I'll make the drive to either of those but will sit out the rest. I'd like to play Michigan State or OSU. Baylor or TCU might be ugly.

We will get the orange i think if OSU loses to Wisconsin which would bump us up. Need to be top 8 to get a contract bowl I think

At this point, we actually need to pull against there being any upsets.

For example: if Tech beats FSU, the they will jump us, and FSU will not drop below us.

If Baylor beats KSU, we will jump KSU. If KSU beats Baylor, we may not jump Baylor. (iffy)

If Mizzou beats Bama, Mizzou will jump us. Bama will not drop below us.

Same thing if AZ beats Oregon. If Oregon wins, we jump AZ.

With no upsets, we likely end up #8. With upsets, who knows?

Maybe we end up against Michigan State. You know... MSU vs MSU.

If we had won the Egg Bowl I have a strong suspicion we would have gotten screwed anyway. The fact that they bumped us behind KSU, Arizona, and Michigan State, none of which have comparable resumes to us, kind of puts the writing on the wall. Plus TCU jumping FSU would have happened anyway, and they would not have bumped FSU out to put a second SEC team in.

It's not accurate but that is how they have played their cards. If you want in, you're going to have to be the best team in your conference. The only way I see two getting in, in any year, is if one team is undefeated and the other's sole loss is to that team. Unless two teams are clearly the best two in the country, only the better of the two is getting in.

You can blame OM for losing to Arky and LSU for that.
