That's probably true. Also true is that he actually did his best coaching job at State. Too bad it didn't work out for the long run and he didn't love us.

It's an unusual scenario. Maybe the thinking is that he can keep the program going that Leach was working toward since he's been with Leach the past three years and knows the plan. I'm a long time older State alum BTW. Normally an AD would be hired first but it ain't a normal time.

Barnhart is absolutely more knowledgeable about football. He is also very objective. He is a pro. Finebaum is all about Finebaum and agitation.
