It has hurt us recruiting top players we projected to play the "star" because they want to play S or LB to get to the NFL.

I'd much rather run the 3-4 or a 3-4 hybrid like Boom ran at Florida and Belichik runs at New England

Except that we have ALWAYS thrown in a hurry up drive from time to time sporadically. Always. Like, before Auburn had even HEARD of Gus. The difference is, tossing it in out of the blue to throw off the defense is one thing. Using it as an offensive philosophy to continuously capitalize on mistakes caused by it is a completely different animal.
