If South Carolina wants to bite THAT bullet then good luck Muschamp.

The funniest thing about JC's notes is he exposed those two posters Supaman and Scarcock pushing it's done as being frauds...

Also, CWM can take the DC job at Auburn and when Spurrier retires, still get the HC job there. But in the meantime, he can coach our defense and compete for championships, and be closer to his family. Win win.

There's no guarantee though. And he can go ahead and build his defense while he's DC there.

That's one hell of a gamble they would be taking.

That's why I'm not buying it. Boom had 4 years to get it done at UF. I'm not saying they should've fired him, but I understand...

Why hitch your trailer to a horse who just proved it isn't quite ready to go the distance?

South Carolina has a good program, a great University, and is a nice place to live.

After what OBC has built there, they could be in contention for any number of high profile coaches when tOBC retires.

I don't understand why they would limit their options so drastically, unless they really do want Boom to replace tOBC.

No, just keep the lotion on standby.

with less talent and a smaller recruiting area? I cant see it happening. He can come to Auburn and pillage Alabama, Georgia and Florida and win championships. USC cant win championships, never have and probably never will (outside of baseball)

I'm also not buying the 2+ million that Auburn is willing to offer. That's not even in the realm of possibility. That's just too nuts.

Anyway, if SC does offer him with any HCIW stipulation, good luck to 'em. This bidding is getting a little too stiff for my blood.

That salary is killing me, as well. Our AD ran something like 800,000 in the hole last year.

Somebody better put in a call to Apple, we need Nike type Alumni support.

Next move: Dance-off between Gus and Spurrier for Muschamp's services.

Meanwhile, Mark Cuban (notorious owner of the Dallas Mavericks) sweeps in for Texas A&M at the last second with a 2.5 million dollar offer for 100% stake.

Apparently they think that's the best they can get according to the SCar fans on the rant

I thought they could do better too.

I don't buy the logic of that move. If USCe is that desperate, then they will get Boom.

So if true it makes sense adding the HCIW. Well okay then.

Apparently Venables is an option. Don't know if he'd leave Clemson though.

Then we still have Odom and Clark. Those are the only names I've heard mentioned besides Muschamp

They can. They're being delusional if they believe that UF isn't the easier program to win at.

If he didn't get it done there, does anyone really think he'll be ready to get it done at USCe in 2-3 years?

A&M is pretty high on Venables. I don't think he'd leave Clemson either.
