what does all that stuff you said have anything to do with players making mistakes?...CMR cannot take the snaps and CMB cannot run the ball...we would have had that game in the bag if Chubb and Michel hadn't coughed it up

This is sooooo much more than one performance. Again, it's not like I watched the GT game and suddenly picked up the banner. I have been chilling on the bus since we lost to Colorado in 2010. There is a body of work that is in question. This isn't just one game of mistakes.

The players absolutely failed to do their job but there were still opportunities to win this game despite that. ST gaffes and a stagnant offense curtailed that effort.

ETA: And before I head to work I want to end on a note that HRD highlighted last night and what I have said in the past. I would love to be wrong. I would love for Richt's performance to force me to eat my words. I would love to be branded a non-believer as Richt hoists the trophy above his head. Instead, I spend year after year doing this same song and dance at the end of the year as more people become critical while others cling more tightly to their defense of Richt as the gaffes continue to pile up.

But Richt can call for a deep kickoff and trust his coverage team that had been awesome all season instead of gift wrapping GT new life. A deep kick likely starts GT inside their own 30, or even a kick out of bounds starts them at the 35 which probably would have been good enough. Instead, we're here staring yet another mediocre 9-3 season down the barrel.
