Congrats on the W rebs.
Moving on- what bowl game do you think we will go to?
I've read either Orange vs GT or Peach vs Ohio State; either I'm ok with. A month to prepare for the triple option, or a QB-less OSU.

Would love to play OSU, but Orange bowl would be pretty cool too.

Can kind of see the press on a Mullen/Meyer contest.

Wildcard: Cotton vs. the Big 12 team that doesn't make the Playoff.

I think we could win either of those
GT's offense is easy to prepare for with a month's time and OSU is a fraud. Would love to do what Arky couldn't in 2010.

Never been done for a bowl game and the Big Ten power vs SEC element would add some more to it as well. Plus yall are much better across the board than the first two meetings. I'd just love to see it happen.

Anybody have a link to a list of the Bowl payouts
Posted on 12/2/14 at 7:00 am to oldwave
The bowl payouts are all put into a pot and distributed evenly to all 14 SEC teams, regardless if they made a bowl or not.

Used to be the participating school got a share for their game after expenses.
Then, the rest was put in the pot & divided by the member institutions & the league office.
So, in effect, 2 shares for the participating school.

Right, but I don't think the first share covers all expenses, just a portion of them and a travel expense.
The rest is put into a pot, and distributed 15 different ways. One for each member and a piece for the league office.

If neither of those teams makes it to the playoff, which they shouldn't because the big12 commissioner f*cked both teams by declarinfg co-champions, they are gonna be some pissed off teams facing us and ole piss.

Yeah whoever we play will likely be someone snubbed by the playoff committee. They'll be looking to prove a point whereas we're still likely down in the dumps over the egg bowl and getting knocked outta contention. I got a bad feeling we get killed no matter who we play.

We would have made the 8-team playoff
