9-6 has a tension that a high scoring game just can't match.

55-44. Field goals weren't a factor, both teams played well, and the better team won. None of that can be said about 9-6

Close games are better to watch regardless.
9-6 went to OT, whereas last night ended with about 6 minutes left to go. So, 9-6 wins in my book.
But, to me, the best game would be a mix of offense and defense. A 28-24 down to the wire game would be best, imo.

I'll take a hard hitting defensive struggle (like 06 Auburn/LSU) over a shootout any day.

That's me too - no TDs at all is boring if you're not rooting hard for either team.

I agree 9-6. Be prepared though, these 55-44 games are going to seem like defensive struggles in years to come.

Easily 9 - 6 for me, but I'm old school

9-6. I hate the direction the game is going. I can't even watch pro football anymore.

The 9-6 game was far more tense and a much better representation of fundamentally sound football (outside the Alabama FG kicking of course).

Neither.
Give me 2005 Tennessee-Alabama 6-3 game.
What's funny is how different low scoring games can be.
MSU/Auburn had that trainwreck 3-2 game which was two horrible teams playing horrible.
Alabama/Tennessee had that 6-3 game which was two ok teams playing ok.
Alabama/LSU had the 9-6 OT games which was two elite teams playing elite.

The 9-6 game was better. I like that we won, but the 55-44 game was just a bunch of ridiculous long passes.

I was in T-Town with my girlfriend for the 9-6 game. Her sister married into an Alabama family. I guess it was our sophomore year of school. I digress.
9-6 had every single person watching the game on pins and needles. We we're at a tailgate in whatever Bama's quad is, and while the game was actually going on, you could hear a pin drop. I wanted the throw up the whole time. frick 9-6 games. I damn near had a heart attack the entire second half.
Last night was exciting, but 9-6 is cannot be replicated

9-6 if it involves the two defenses that game did. If it's, I don't know, Missouri and Indiana I would rather a higher scoring game.

9-6 was the Game of the Century.

9-6 was the most intense game ever and we lost.
Last night was fun and we won
