I remember sitting in a bar in College Station after we just beat the shite out of aTm and telling my friend that OM and State were both gonna suffer some heart breaking losses this season that would keep us from making the playoff... Ours was Auburn... Yall's was last night obviously...If someone would've offered you 10-2 and College Gameday in the Junction in August you wouldve taken it.. Just like if someone offered me 9-3 with wins over Bama and MSU and Gameday in The Grove I wouldve taken it.
Good luck in your bowl game.. Win and you might finish ranked as high as 5th or 6th in the polls... With Dak returning, yall will no doubt be the sexy pick to win the SECw and make a playoff run in 2015.

Y'all had a great year. I could have cared less about us losing to LSU on Turkey day, but y'all losing to ol miss was a kick to the gut. Topped off the weekend with another kick to gut when the gators choked it up to rapist u.

I'm not upset with the season at all.
Add holding the No. 1 spot for a month too.
I'm upset that our guys couldn't or didn't want to tackle yesterday. Mullen threw the coaches under the bus as well as he should have. Our offense did pretty good against Ole miss D in oxford. Our Defense didn't even show up.

I'm not really upset that we lost the game, I'm more pissed that we didn't show up to play with so much on the line. We should have been jacked up knowing we had a shot at the playoffs and winning the West along with playing our rival.

frick our defense. Losing the game isn't bad and was almost expected with the level both MS schools are playing, but frick our defense..

This stings a lot less than 2012. We were going to get shite on by the committee anyway. Beating Aggy, AU, and LSU in the same season was pretty sweet. Especially Auburn. frick those guys.

Agreed, we don't let one game define our season, better record, blah blah blah. Oh how things have changed in the mind of Ole Miss fans just a year ago

And y'all had an amazing year. Y'all were really the jewel of Mississippi in the eyes of the country after we lost to LSU and carried the flag for the state very well. These are the years that our two programs need to continue to cultivate, as its made football season so much more interesting and exciting.
Hope y'all continue to represent in the bowl game.
