Forgot about Clemson. Seems so long ago

And no, I'm not a Chizik fan. My point is that with all of the teams around UGA winning titles, it's time for Richt to get one too. The more often he falls short, the less likely it's going to happen, unless he has some Tom Osborne end of career run in him. UGA is a running punchline for underachievement among other fans.

Yes, it does. In some ways it seems like yesterday, and in some ways it seems like eons ago!

I understand your aggravation. But just watch Florida and their search for a coach. There simply is not much out there. At least, none that is willing to move. Florida will have a HARD time coming up with a new coach, and it probably will not be anyone they truly want.

I don't care what other fans say. MANY schools out recruit Georgia and don't do as well. Shoot...Alabama has more talent than anyone in the country and have won the recruiting title the last 4 years in a row. they should win the National Championship every single year...and yet...they underachieve. Same for LSU, Texas A&M and Florida....Ohio State....USC...Notre Dame. There are plenty of teams out there that out recruit us and yet have worse years.
