Some were painful responses, sure - but the claim that several were the "best at their position" was caused several people to chime in. LSU players are doing well so far, but considering how many times I've read LSU fans try and tear down every Alabama player ever to be drafted, you're going to have to be willing to get as well as you give.

I am simply responding to the OP and the responses he got right away from a bunch of completely miserable people.

The OP didn't say anything out of line. YES, LSU rookies are dominating. When you run for 150 yards and 2 TDs as a rookie or when you throw for 350 yards as a rookie or when you have 150 yards and 2 TDs receiving, that is pretty dominant.

Does anyone think that LSU rookies are the BEST in the NFL at their position? No. That is stupid. Some of that kind of thing was said later in the thread which is stupid, but the denigrating comments came right away.

My point is that this board is toxic that every single post is just seen as an opportunity to flame and run down by everyone. It is pointless.

Do you want me to praise Alabama players to make you feel better? Eddie Lacy is amazing. Julio Jones is really, really good. Quite a few Alabama defensive players are making their mark in the NFL. You should feel good about the NFL talent that Alabama is putting into the League. It is obvious.

There is nothing wrong with an LSU fan talking about LSU talent in the NFL on the SEC Rant. The fact that it draws out completely stupid negativity from every other fanbase just demonstrates what a disaster this board is. SEC fans apparently know more than NFL scouts, coaches, and commentators. Whatever.

NO, they are not dominating. You must have a very loose definition of that term. They are playing very well. Aaron Rodgers is dominating the league. Randy Moss dominated the league a few years ago in New England. These LSU guys are just having a couple nice games. Long way to go before they are dominating. Hell, OBJ's team didnt even win the game last night, so how is that dominating the league?
