Arkansas won't go back for the same reason Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Mizzou left......Texas.
At least in the SEC the power teams appear to care about the whole league and I think it is the same in the Pac 12 and Big Ten. Texas only cares about Texas.

Big 12 is a dumpster fire. After Oklahoma and Texas, it's a bunch of misfits. Who'd want to join that?
