Donors love/hate of Long tends to focus on the amount of access to the program they had before and after him. Broyles let a lot of longtime donors and cronies have crazy access to the program. Long runs the place like a business. This pisses off the good old boy network who feel like they're unappreciated for their contributions.

Speaking of Little Rock, I was at the LSU game prior to our Sugar Bowl birth.

I remember paying 50 bucks for student tickets. As I got to my seats there was an extremely intoxicated young man.

Cops showed up and body slammed this fella. He had a plastic bottle of whiskey. As they were escorting him out they dropped the bottle in my lap(half full)

Not sure why they gave me the bottle, but I had to share the story.

No, not close at all.

Long seems to shun some donors. Then, when he needs something such as money, he calls them. I know of a few who have said they will no longer deal with him.

The feathers began to ruffle when money was raised for the baseball facility, by someone other than Long. Long decided to use that money elsewhere.

The exclusive supplier contracts are short sighted business deals.

ANY business should have its main focus on delivering the best possible product and experience that they possibly can.

If JL is a businessman type of AD he's failing miserably at product quality and customer service.

Not giving fans options to purchase products that they enjoy and prefer is just bad fundamentals and it devalues the fan experience for many thousands of fans.

People now are more likely to spend concession dollars on their tailgate spreads and come into the stadium right at kick off and leave as early as possible if the game isn't down to the wire.

They are making it harder and harder for fans to want to come and invest their lives and all the work it takes to get to Fayetteville, prep, set up, go to game, tear down, pack up, head home. Blah blah blah.

The product quality on the field is the worst it's ever been. The fan experience is pretty predictable and vanilla like the offense. My apathy isn't rock bottom but I was doing a lot of drinking and chasing tail then. I barely drink now so I've been going through this streak stone sober. I may never recover from this season tbh.
