I'm surprised so many in this thread are as patient as the answers suggest. I would have figured everyone would be saying NCAA tournament appearance or serious hot seat time.

Arkansas doesn't put forth the effort to be a power in basketball, like they could be.
Anderson was the first established coached hired by the program, the rest were all "up and comers".
Arkansas's lack of effort towards the program means if Mike doesn't work out, roll the dice on the next "up and comer".
In the past 35 years, the up and comers is 50% success rate. Sutton was OK for a pill headed drunk, Nolan rebuilt the program and took it to its peak, Heath wasn't bad, but wasn't great either, while Pelphrey turned the program into a complete dumpster fire bringing in thugs who couldn't ball out on the court, bad combination.
Losing or not winning "enough" sucks, but it isn't as bad as losing and leading the SEC in arrests like we had with Pelphrey.
There is only one coach out there with previous ties to the program who might be called up on since he now has his degree, but he's only been a coach as an assistant on the NBA level. Any other "established" HC would have a troubled past or be a job hopper (Floyd/Kruger type). Part of this the fear Arkansas would become a basketball school, the other part is the fact established HCs do not job hop in CBB, mainly due to the tourney giving everyone a shot.

We have to go to The Dance.

I just think anything less than the dance with this squad warrants some heat.

Well Florida just lost to Miami.
And Clemson just lost at home to Winthrop.

Winthrop was good, a decade ago.
Florida was starting a walk on, not a former golfer walk on for a season, but the Pel is with them.

Its early, Cleveland St. was being beaten by the officials at Rupp this time of the year last year.

Nah Georgia State is an at large team this year, if they somehow get upset in the conf tourney again.
Kevin Ware from Louisville and Ryan Harrow from Kentucky are on that team.
Hopefully ISU can pull it out, I want them undefeated when we roll into town.

Posted on 11/17/14 at 9:36 pm to UltimateHog
because there was a thread mocking the HS gym TCU is playing their home games in this season.
Had to see it for myself.

Abron tore his achilles last year, surprised he's even playing still.
