The difference here is that Auburn won't tolerate years of almost but not quit from Malzahn. For better or for worse if the PTB don't feel like Gus is getting the job done he'll be gone

Bull crap. You put up with Pat Dye ofr 11 or 12 years without a National Title.

Need something more recent? You had Tommy Tubberville for 9 years with no title.

You need to learn the history of your own team.

You dufus he's referring to the fact that Auburn is currently ranked #3 in the nation and is "working" towards a 2nd consecutive NC appearance.

You're the reason UGA can't have nice things

Don't tell me! Explain it to him! He's the one that doesn't know what he means!

Seems like there's a divide developing in the fan base between the "he's a good guy" and "fire him NOW" camp.

Then you missed last year. Every time we lose a game the "Fire Richt" crowd comes out.

I understand. He's not so bad. It just shocked when all the implications of the thread began to sink in. That is EXACTLY why I don't (or try not to) start troll threads. more often than not they blow up in the OPs face. I do enough damage to myself when i just post in a thread!

Better question

Who wins a NC first?

a) Will Muschamp

b) Gus Malzahn

c) Gary Pinkle

d) Butch Jones

My guess is none cause it'll never happen.

I think Richt will win one before Malzhan.

But Sumlin needs to focus on an SEC title first. Baby steps.

Say wut? That's as delusional as our 1941 NC. I guess you're going to claim 2004 too like your idiot AD. You guys all need straight jackets.

Ritch may do it. Sumlin if he changes jobs maybe, A&M is not meant for that.

That might not be the worst thing that could happen to "Melting" Ice, Roddy White, and Julio? Falcons fans should be used to bad defense so it seems like he would fit right in?

I'm being serious, this could work?
