Coach Freeze benefited from It. Last year, Ole miss If I remember correctly was in the twenty range in recruiting classes. Kind of large drop off from the year before.

CHF 2014 recruiting class was ranked btwn 12-17 depending what service you go by.

The oline seems to be the issue and the lack of a true running game

From Jeff Scott to Walton & Mathers...won't win anything. His running game is Sun Belt-built, Not SEC-built

Adrien Pererson wouldnt look good when being met in the backfield by 2-3 defenders. I think their backs are more than serviceable they just don't have an o line that can run block to.

Sorry this year is 22, you are correct about the 15-17 last year.

Thirdlawson is right. Scat/speed backs just don't produce in the SEC as bell cows.

I'm not claiming they would individually ever lead the sec in rushing or anything but i think as a tandem, with a good o line, they could produce enough to balance the offense. Which is their main problem.

You can run CHF's offense well with a better oline and some thunder/lightening rotation in RBs. Nutt did not recruit any good Olinemen and that lack of talent has had a huge impact on the offense up to this point. A good case in point is Auburn. Malzan & Freeze run very similar offenses, but Malzan fell into a situation where there was plenty of talent that was not bing utilized correctly under Chiz and Freeze inherited a roster without much line strength. Now that in year 3 Freeze is bringing in some blue chip line & RB prospects you may see a better rushing attack to balance the offense and spell the D going forward.
