Where's the hype? In Morgantown I guess? This week has a weird feel to it so far. It's just Wednesday, but I'm getting the vibe from everything I've read and watched that no one has any earthly idea what's going to happen Saturday night. Including me.

Things we know:

-It's going to be cold.
-It should be a close one.

Things we don't know:
-How will Tunsil, Prewitt, and RN bounce back, if at all?
-Will Hugh herp?
-Will Bo derp?
-How will AU's D attack our offense?
-How will we attack theirs?
-What uniform are we wearing?

I'm in a glass case of emotion. On one hand, I'm thrilled to death at our ranking. On the other, I am beyond anxious about how bad we could possibly look coming off the LSU game. Part of me wants to think they'll bounce back and be motivated by the ranking. The other part of me worries about a sudden loss of chemistry. One thing is for certain, if we look like shite again on offense this week, any shot at the playoff is done. Over. And I'll be pissed.

eta: found some hype

You don't even know what uniform you are wearing? Fire Freeze.

Prewitt's injuries seem to be mere bumps, bruises, and normal things picked up from strain of a season in the ultra-physical SEC West.

I haven't heard much more on Robert and Laremy, however.

Looks like we need some cortisone up in hyah.

Hopefully not. He must call a better game this week. We can exploit Auburn's weaknesses in the passing game, hopefully.

-Will Bo derp?

SEC QBs Auburn has faced and their statistics
Brandon Allen - 18/31, 58.1%, 175 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Anthony Jennings - 8/24, 33.3%, 142 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
Dak Prescott - 18/35, 51.4%, 246 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT
Dylan Thompson - 30/53, 56.6%, 416 yards, 5 TD, 3INT

Possibly. However, none of these teams' passing games are as prolific as ours.

Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run off tackle and use their speed in space on short, quick routes.

Auburn is also, generally, pretty deadly with play-action.

quote:

-How will we attack theirs?

CONTROL THE CLOCK AND KEEP OUR DEFENSE OFF THE FIELD. WE MUST ESTABLISH THE RUN!

The pass will follow if we can establish the run.

Auburn allows 120.4 rushing yards per game and will likely drop an extra defender or two into coverage since we've struggled running the ball.

Get out of the red this week and let's go with blue.

I'd like to see blue over gray.

This is all I know ^^^

The good news is we have performed well in big games where a lot of people expected us to lose:

Alabama 2014
TAMU 2014
LSU 2013

Games we were the popular choice to win haven't gone so well:

LSU 2014
Mizzou 2013

Freeze will have the players mentally ready, I just worry about Freeze himself with his derps.
