That is a law that creates a civil cause of action. There are no charges for the state to bring.
The school could sue the guy, but he is likely judgement proof. Additionally, NYC's point is probably correct based on the way the statute is worded.
Very unlikely that UGA sues, imo.

Actually, I believe we are strongly considering it. Don't be surprised if we go after all of them. They have have caused us to play without the best player in the country.
Once that starts happening, these guys will squeal like pigs too. They are slime and dont care about these athletes to begin with. They will have no problem releasing others names just to see them burn.
Same reason this clown outted Gurley....he felt burnt, so he decided to drop the hammer.
Others will follow.

The law specifically states the school itself must be penalized, disqualified, or suspended from participation in intercollegiate athletics, not a student. I have only asked what specific penalties did the school receive from the NCAA.

Yeah, I cannot imagine any university wanting to have players make statements under oath an I am sure the defense would have quite the subpoena list.
