not even going to call black helicopter
every other sport has rigged games. To think it wouldn't happen in cfb with this much money on the line is naive

Bama fan bitching about SEC refs?
You can't get all the calls, some are going to have to go against you if the facade of fair play is to remain.

Hmm. Would love to see a shred of proof.

there's no proof when the governing body is making money.

Doesnt scrape the surface into how much corruption we have with SEC officials.

He is a loon. When he says in my eyes, he means in my mind & offers NO Proof.

was at an auburn bball game a while back and we were yelling at the ref because there wasn't much else to do.

Mike Perreria is a clown. He isn't an expert that he thinks he is for NCAA. He does good job on Sundays but listen to him during Fox PAC games.

That guys seems like an idiot. I mean, sure, it's theoretically possible that the refs are talking to someone else, but the fact that this guy has 0 proof and yet refuses to believe the referee explanation makes him look like an ostrich sticking his head in the sand.

Absolutely. He sounds a bit paranoid about rigging things but it's gotten amazingly bad the past few years. I'd honestly rather have had B12 officials calling our game against OU than SEC officials. The only portion of our officials that are halfway competent (and then only halfway) are the replay/review officials. There's just no denying the incompetence we're seeing.
Pay them more or whatever we have to do to fix it but this conference shouldn't have to deal with the worst refs in CFB.

Pereira is just now figuring out what we have seen for years. Our officiating sucks and I would not be surprised at all if some were on the take.

Not to rain on the parade here of Bama possibly cheating (because, you know, Bama cheats and all that), but there is a possible explanation for this.
The SEC has been taking some Sun Belt football referees for tutelage/training/evaluation/whatever to see if they want to make them full-time and giving us (the Sun Belt) 1 SEC ref to be head ref at some of our games in exchange.
We know this because our officiating has been a little stranger than usual. Lots of calls being overridden by the head referee this year. At some Sun Belt games, we've basically had NFL-replacement-ref-level-bad referees with one good referee.
And SBC refs are historically shite, so if some SEC games seem to be officiated horribly, then that may be why. Also may explain why they're on a headset talking to "someone", that "someone" is telling them wtf to do, but not out of corruption- simply because the refs on the field are incompetent and need the safety net.

take a scanner to games and start recording the transmissions. If they have someone withing the stadium it should be easy to pick up

And he didn't mention Big 12 and ACC refs?

Higher ranked teams and/or the home team will receive favorable calls or no calls at certain points in a game every week in every conference.
Leagues are going to protect their cash cows, we saw this in 2009 when the SEC officials did all they could to try to secure an unbeaten Florida vs an unbeaten Bama SEC-C game.
I haven't watch any games in whatever league Marshall is in, but I'm guessing they will get the calls to go their way from here on out as they are the only shot at a big pay day for their conference.
Basketball is just as bad, except the calls generally go the home team's way more so than not.
