no need for that. Bobo doesn't seem the kind of guy to demand that title. He is a UGA guy. We would be stupid not to offer him the job when Richt retires/leaves.
So what if Richt leaves after next season? Do you personally think Bobo could handle the ship?

If Richt leaves in the next 5 years, no way Bobo is NOT our next HC.
Georgia Southern and Southern Miss both asked to contact and interview Bobo and, while he entertained thoughts of both, declined to interview. La Tech was also interested in Bobo but I'm not sure he was on their short list.

Helped you out by RAing this to the UGA board. That way you only get the responses that you really wanted. Woof

He won't though, so it is pointless to even consider it.
But Yeah, I think Bobo would be great.

Bobo may be just content as an assistant like Chief is over there at LSU. I'm sure if Chief had made it known of any desire to become a HC he would have surly been in that position by now. Another possibility would be, like someone already mentioned, HCIW. I don't see CMR going anywhere, ever. I think CMR will retire as UGA HC and Bobo stepping in after CMR steps down.

I seem to remember his name coming up for the GA Southern job but I don't think he interviewed.
I can see a school like a South Florida or some mid level school like that come calling. He's an excellent recruiter and typically has a good game plan. Hard to see him leaving Athens though as stated by another poster. His setup is too good right now.

I hear there's gonna be an opening at Flarda. Our current secret agent looks to be on the way out.

He is the future HCIW... so UGA can suffer 10 more years of mediocrity.

His situation is great. Coaching at the Alma mater. Wife is grad too. has a HC that takes all the shite for him. Has great players most of the time to coach.
If he is happy as being the Georgia OC for life, then by all means stay. Until Richt leaves. Then you are fricked...just like all assistants.

Thought it's pruitt job if he stays long enough

He is following the Mark Richt model. Ride this bitch till, right before, the wheels fall off, then go to a great program, or take at UGA. Move once or never. He loves UGA!

Bobo is a god awful play-caller with superior talent to work with. That's why he has never been mentioned for a HC jobs. Mark Richt is as loyal as a dog if nothing else and will never replace CMB. Dude also has a hundred mouths to feed.
