Call me crazy but if Ole Miss' D keeps up its current pace and somehow carries the team to a championahip, it should be mentioned in the same breath as both of those defenses.

you just can't enjoy the season can you.....in your lifetime you haven't had this much success. It's not good enough for you, you want to be the best every, etc. You are half way through the SEC schedule. You guys are talking WAY too early. It is going to be a brutal second half of the SEC schedule, and not only will you be lucky to run the table, you will be extremely fortunate to only lose 1 game. I know you don't believe it, but take it from fans that have had teams in this hunt for the better part of the last 15 years. Karma is going to be a bitch for you guys. At least State is staying somewhat grounded.

No. LSU played 3 BCS bowl champions and beat every one of them by double digits except Alabama. And if I remember correctly, they were down against both Georgia and Arkansas by 14 points and beat them by at least 24 in the end.

And all of the teams I just mentioned outside of Alabama had a high flying offense. Even Alabama was scoring 35 points a game that year.

You're crazy. I don't think either of those teams would give up almost 500 yards to this year's A&M team. They had 10 more first downs than Ole Miss.
