You guys have only played 26 times? That's surprising to me, but I know nothing of the history of either school honestly.

It wasn't until 20 years ago that Louisville resembled anything like a BCS type football program. They played in an old minor league baseball stadium with astro turf until pretty recently.

Cards were an inner city school then politicians got involved and threatened to use Frankfort to force the schools to play each other. Without government meddling at the state level, the Cards would not have the current sports series.
