It is not taking the foot off the gas... It is strategic. The way a team like that gets back into a game like that is with quick strike TDs and by getting turnovers. Arky got neither. On the other hand, UGA got a turnover and caught the Arky safety cheating and scored on a long pass. UGA also had the ball the last 5 minutes of the game and could have scored again if they wanted to. The 4 th down play was certainly not conservative. Our guy did not make the play.
Y'all can keep on saying things until you make it seem real in your chain of logic if you want, but you may consider spending some of your time and energy understanding tackle football a tad more...

Or just cackle foot off the gas over and over again....

The fact remains our Offensive production was terrible in that 3rd qr...now whether thats their defensive adjustments or our offensive ineptitude is irrelevant. My point was that it was the defense being on the filed so much that allowed Arky back into the game. Had we did what we did at he end of the game the entire second half...it wouldn't have been near as close. Question is...why the hell didn't we?
