Have to love how dominant we looked in the first half. Cannot let up like we did the 2nd half, but I'll take going 2-0 on this road trip without Gurley.

lol, i'm not worried at all about this second half. We played shitty at times in the second half. Ok. IDGAF. We still played much better than anyone on here would give them credit for.

When did a UGA running back last rush for over 200 yards?

Oh yeah - Gurley vs UT
Now Chubb vs AR

Got to think that's some kind of record...when would UGA have ever had two different running backs rush for over 200 yards in a game in the same season?

These guys are in elite company....jointing Hershel, Garrison Hearst, Rodney Hampton...any others in the modern era that went over 200?

Obviously HW did it 7 or 8 times but his carries per game were amazing.

Herschel broke 200 4 times in 1980 (Vandy, SC, FL, GT) 2 times in 1981 (Ole Miss, GT) and 3 times in 1982 (Miss ST, Memphis St, Fl)

I'm not sure how good Chubb will be in 3 years, but I think he might be every bit as good as Gurley was as a freshman. That's saying something.

Can't wait for Gurley to make his return. But for now Chubb is our beast

Yep - Herschel hit the 200 yard mark 9 times in his career. Nobody in the modern era has ever come remotely close. Then again no one has ever been that kind of workhorse for us.

But I was saying, I don't know of any other season when two DIFFERENT running backs did this at UGA. Might be a first.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking that the Chubb-Michel duo is going to be every bit as good as Gurley-Marshall.
