While Walker was still playing I was personally informed by the agent that he was holding a $250,000 note payable from Walker but that the asset was not shown on his financial statement for fear of the NCAA. Walker's family got a new house and swimming pool.
Based on subsequent events I'm fairly confident the agent was not lying.

I second the comments of others on this issue. Herschel being the best football player ever at UGA doesn't mean he isn't being a massive hypocrite in this case.
