re: Saban wants lower expectations. Pissed at Bama fans

A bama beat writer was on one of the sports talk shows yesterday & commented that while he agreed with Saban re his comments about too high expectations, he added that that attitude has always been around, & will always be around, bama's football program, i.e. point being, if he's frustrated now, he's in for a bigger melt down sooner rather than later as those expectations will never go away. My take is that every team in college football goes through various cycles, and what bama is experiencing now is tied to the huge upgrade in the competition within the division itself as much as anything else. The West has never been this strong.
