the biggest potential implosion is texas a&m. they way overestimated themselves and assumed that with sumlin there would be steady improvement. he's in year 3 and hasn't won any hardware or really sniffed it. even the locals are calling his offense gimmicky. he inherited argueably the best Oline in college football along wih damn good WR's and RB's not to mention a Heisman trophy winning QB.
he has received a huge raise and is now one of the highest paid HC's in the country. the rumblings are starting to be heard and some are demanding results.
it's a matter of time before these rumblings grow and grow if he doesn't start to compete for titles.
expectations in College Station are not what they used to be. they are now desparately wanting to join the nation's elite.
they have been blown out back to back weeks and are headed to bama this week. it they get blown out again the locals are gonna revolt.

None of this is true. We all expected a mediocre record all offseason. The mark of Sumlin's success right now is if he is top 5 on NSD. He does that and the "locals" will be happy.
