Since it was brought up, the last time State beat a top 5 team at home, was 1941. Coincidently, this is States last SEC title as well. The 1941 team was undefeated before shipping out and canceling the remainder of the season due to WW2. I fear for America's safety now that history is repeating and the Bulldogs are once again the best in the land.
Which brings me to one obvious conclusion. God loves Mississippi State and the rest of the world hates us for it.
You can spot this obvious trend in the previous years that State was a national contender in football. Coincidentally, both were brought to halts by the only two occasions America experienced attacks on her own soil.
- In 1941, WW2 broke out to stop the Bulldogs on their march to a title.
- in 2001, after a strong season and having become the dominant SEC West team over the past 5 years, the US was attacked by terrorists to stop the Mississippi State team from achieving greatness.
I rest my case. God loves Mississippi State.

The grind is either falling apart or grinding itself into oblivion

I chuckled a little when that happened. Almost left it and saved the thread for another day.

Have the Program from the State Vs. Mississippi Game, which decided the SEC.

Are you implying that we took LSU's place in the future of football?

Maybe God does love you, what with the state of Mississippi being last in everything but the blues for a century.

So you're predicting a national disaster to happen, so that MSSt gets screwed out of another title? That seems un-American bro.

War was declared AFTER the 1941 season.

Bro Auburn is kind of Godthing and will not be denied God's glory on the football field.

Also - why do you guys keep saying MSU won the 1941 title? We all know the computers awarded that title to the rightful champs - the 8-2 Alabama Crimson Tide.

If that's the case, why has it taken 73 years for you to be relevant again?
