For the Anti-grinders saying State has a weak defense

Some numbers for you
#2 in the Nation in RedZone Scoring Defense
#5 in nation in opponent's 3rd down conversion %
#10 in the nation in tackles for loss
#4 in the nation in interceptions
#11 in the nation in rushing defense
#5 in the nation in rushing TDs allowed (only 2 all year)
#11 in the nation in yards per rush
#20 in the nation in completion percentage
#12 in the nation in 4th down conversion %
#14 in the nation in sacks
Teams have thrown on us 45.8 times per game, second most in the nation. They can't run, and they're playing catch up. We're going to see a lot of passes thrown against us this year. We've given up 9 TD passes, but we also have 9 INTs.

Very nice work big Al.. I think our defense, as a whole, is severely underrated

Not one State defensive player would start anywhere on the 12 other SEC teams defensive units ranked ahead of us.

My favorite of those stats is only 2 rushing TDs given up through 5 games.

Auburn's offense has been pretty mediocre vs us in Starkville since 2009.

What is the excuse for our success going to be after we beat Auburn by 14 Saturday?
I can hear it now: We're not who we thought we are... This isn't the auburn team from last year... We should have started j.j.... Auburn hadn't really beaten anyone either... MSU's schedule has been soooo easy.
