Still, having been a Mizzou fan since the 1970s, I knew this was the beginning of a terrific journey in the SEC.
That date has been in my sig since before that game. I thought about changing it after the loss, and again after the horrendous season; but as you point out, it marked the beginning of something special for Missouri Football.

Two class acts coaching in this ballgame.

Americus, did you know the other finalist for the Mizzou job when they hired Pinkel was Mark Richt? I think these two coaches have a lot of similarities. And I think they respect each other.

No, I only heard that when we first played Missouri. Glad they both landed where they did.

so if I understand correctly out of 4 All American caliber running backs you are down to Chubb?
I still say you can win.

So Gurley out. First thing through my head..."Dammit. Now that's all we'll hear about if we win." Maybe we can all agree that not one word of no Gurley as an excuse since we're without arguably our best playmaker DGB.

ikr, I just don't give a fuk anymore..
if we win we win, we had all the excuses in the world 2 years ago, let's just do this.
For Mizzou fans who think this will be easy now, better readjust your buttplugs, this game will not be over til the last quarter and I will guarantee that.

Oh, it's far from a win. Some UGA fans might think so, but that's just an emotional response to the news. They're still a solid team and Chubb is no slouch.
What I won't hear any of is we only lost because we lost Gurley. Bite my arse. We lost our best playmaker too in DGB. So yes, I will concede that UGA lost their best playmaker, but that should only put us on an even playing field then after losing our best playmaker.

Don't even try to compare DGB to Gurley. He hasn't done sh$$ compared to what Gurley has done. No excuses needed here even "IF" we lose.

You just compared them.

Gurley is the greatest that never was, whether because of injury or just being a dumbass. 1300 yards is solid but hardly great. 989 yards is okay but not even close to great. He's going to finish this season with 773 yards. Please tell me again exactly what Gurley has actually done that has been so great? I'm not denying how great of a RB he is, but for one reason or another he has never had the kind of impact for UGA that some fans seem to think he has. Your team has been good regardless of Gurley, not because of him.
I think you are over estimating what Gurley has actually accomplished for UGA based on his obvious abilities. Beyond that, I have 2 questions for you.
At the end of last season, who did you think would be UGA's biggest play maker on offense this year?
At the end of last season, who did you think would be MU's biggest play maker on offense this year?
