A significantly larger number of in-state kids go to State, and tend to stay in state. So, alumni-wise, State has a decent majority.

Obviously the methodology is not perfect, but this is quite interesting. Surprising how much it shows Miss St ruling Miss, Duke over NC, and SC over Clemson.

I was told its because State has branches all over Miss.

Being a larger school in general is a big part as well. More alumni and most of the growth has occurred in the past 10-15 years.
