LSU is coming to town which means one thing. Death threats on the refs will be at an all-time high. What's the excuse going to be for LSU this time?
Yes, i know. 2 of the last 9 and all that jazz. But I'm talking about LSU vs legit Auburn teams in Auburn.

Gus will not leave it in the hands of the Refs this year.

Got to get them safely home after we win.

Too many players on the field for Auburn.
After Harris tears up that secondary for 4 quarters, Gus will try to slip in an extra DB.

we will be going in for the winning score and get penalized for celebrating it too early

Rule 78, Section Q, PAragraph 3: "Officials will do everything within reason, or everything that the SEC can ignore to prevent opponents from outscoring Auburn on its home field."

Bet AU gets a great spot for a 1st down conversion in the 2nd Q that has no relevance to the games outcome...but it will be bitched about on here.

I pray for Ritter's sake that he doesn't get the call.
He won't make it to the game...

Auburn wins on a 1 point safety

None. SEC refs are stellar. They never miss a call, or jump the gun on a call. FACT.

Am I the only one seeing the irony here?
Auburn fans, who provided no end to the excuses for losing last year, are asking about LSU's excuses?
I bet it's going to be, "Yeah, but it's early in the season, we'll be a different team by November - you should play us the!"
[Plus I checked the forecast, and there's to be no 'dew' for Auburn fans to blame this time.]

Yes...I have seen a reference to the AU win from 8 YEARS AGO today.
LSU fans are the Kings of Excuse makers.
