The Mizzou fans who made the trip to our Columbia were very good people. Enjoyed tailgating and talking with them before and after the game. Very classy and nice. Wish you the best of luck the rest of the season.

Wish I could have been there! Good luck to the Gamecocks the rest of the way!

maybe we'll bring a more typical turnout to Columbia, SC next time. I'm not sure why our fans are so hesitant to travel there. We travel better everywhere else I have seen/been to.

They were really nice to me my freshman year in 2008 when my buddy and I went to Columbia, Mo. on a whim to the OK State-Mizzou game. It was loaded with future NFL players like Dez Bryant, Justin Blackman, Kendall Hunter, Jeremy Maclin, Chase Daniel, Chase Coffman, so on and so on.

Neither of us knew a soul from either school. We went up to a fraternity house, made friends and they took us in. They gave us a place to stay, free booze and food all weekend, and gave us two tickets 20 rows up for $45 combined.

Good people up there but the drive from Oxford to Columbia sucks balls, looking at you Arkansas.

I recall a similar thread from Georgia fans after our first meeting with them back in 2012. The fans who made the trip to Columbia were very complementary of the welcome they received and the way they were treated. Always good to hear our fanbase is generally treating people right and being respectable unlike the Bama mom's and piss-ballooners of the world.

We sure had a blast in Columbia. I would like to come back. Excellent experience all around.
