I was at American Beach around a month ago, so yes. I took my daughter and her hollow wood paddle board down to paddle around. It's a small 8' X 31" X 4.5" that I built for someone under 120 lbs.

I have been mainly taking these boards down to Ginnie Springs and camping, paddling down the Santa Fe.

That said, I'll hit you up on here when I get it ready to go and decide to head that way. I have more polyester resin on order to apply the gloss coat. I have it hot coated and sanded as we speak. It's why I am on here and not in my shop. Nothing to do but sit around and design the next build in my CAD software. I am anxious to see how this design rides...

damn brother...American is 30 minutes from me...I would love to give that board a shot as well...i ride a 7' 6" Quiet Flight fun I've had for about ten years...

that sounds like the tits...i have been wanting to give the paddle board thing a try...never thought about doing it in the rivers....
