We live in a police state now, might as well get used to it.
The sad thing is that I'd be willing to wager that 9 out of every 10 police officer is a good person making a living, but they're being given a bad name by a small percentage of tiny dicked assholes who think they're Wyatt Earp and seemingly want to shoot anyone or anything that doesn't to comply to their every whim.

This is a common sentiment and one that is, unfortunately, probably false. While I doubt that a majority of cops will shoot anything that moves the vast majority of them will keep quiet and cover up for their brothers in blue when there is an incident...and that is every bit as bad as actually doing something wrong. If just a few of the supposedly large number of "good cops" out there would refuse to cover up their brothers crimes the number of those crimes would plummet....
