Before I jump to any conclusions about an entire fanbase based on my experience, was curious to hear about the interactions everyone at the game had with Arkansas fans?

They were pretty friendly the night before and yesterday. When we went to the stadium we hung out where the Arky band was playing for a bit by the reflecting pool. Was all Hog fans and they were just having a good time and talking about the game.
During the game We had 6 hog fans 1 row below and to the right of us. When Hogs were up by 14 and they had the long run (tripping penalty run), they got up and were laughing and waving at everyone as if we were going to start leaving like LSU fans.
From that point on they were pretty quiet. I really didn't see any of them giving anyone shite before or during the game.
Guess you were fortunate enough to be around some drunk Hog fans??

I was in section 241, on the Arky side, and they were by far the dumbest fanbase I've ever been around. And yes, extremely drunk. When both Everett and Kennedy got hurt, they'd start yelling to "get up boy" and "he's stopping the clock." All you can do is stare.
So after we won, my group of 8 or so friends (Graduated in 2013), were sawing varsity's horn off and a two 50 year old men, two rows in front, start flipping us off. I blew a kiss to him and the two guys lost it. Threw beer on one of my friends, got in my face but nothing malicious yet. An Aggie mom tried to separate everything, then one of the Hogs said to her "shut the hell up bitch" and all hell broke loose. Luckily no one was arrested.

I have nothing but good things to say. Good conversations with Arky fans during multiple points during the game while strolling the upper concourses. Afterwards, nary a cross word, lots of "good game" "good comeback," "see y'all next year."
Two years in a row I've had good interactions with them.

I really think these guys were two bad apples. Arkansas fans were even embarrassed.
Lesson is to not sit in the Arkansas section

Well, I actually sat on the Arky side in Fayetteville last year (alumni section, though, not students), and had a great time, too.
Jackasses in every fanbase, though. I'm sure there's threads on hogville right now decrying some classless Aggie fan behavior
