Can Tennessee beat Georgia?

A young Tennessee roster coming off a tough loss on the road to #4 Oklahoma followed with a bye-week to get healthy and prepared for game against Georgia between the hedges.
Georgia showed signs of weakness in a loss to South Carolina, and is still without three of their potentially best receivers and a defense that can best be described as inconsistent.
Can Georgia's stable of running backs control the clock and grind down Tennessee for the win?
Can Tennessee keep it close and pull off the upset late?
This one will be a nail biter!

we're without 2 of our best receivers, not 3.
And UT is missing 2 of their top wideouts as well.

Not in this particular universe.

Yea. Is it in Georgia's wheelhouse to lose this game? Certainly. Does Gurley need to feed on young Vols to garner enough energy get to New York? Yea, probably does.
Really, guys, this is out of our hands.

I said "potentially" and you are forgetting about Rumph's hamstring.
That's 3 of our potentially best receivers.

Doubtful
Tennessee's o-line is young and terrible
I could see a repeat of the Clemson game, close early but Dawgs run away late

frick yes, our secondary sucks.

Tennessee is missing Smith and Pearson at WR too. Malone will get his first start Saturday next to North and Pig.

Even with Aaron Murray last year, it took two overtimes for Georgia to win. That was a brand new coach at Tenn too.
Tennessee always plays Georgia hard.
Tennessee is more of a rival than South Carolina for any fan over the age of 21.
Tennessee will be ready.
I sure as hell hope Georgia is.

No. A better result against OU would have given them hope. But that didn't happen

I haven't forgotten anything. Rumph hasn't done a damn thing in his entire career. it blows my mind people keep pointing to him being hurt as some big blow to our team. He has played in 3 games in his career, with 7 catches and 0 TDs.
Anyone who says our WR corp is hurt because of rumph, might as well say our backfield is in trouble because AJ Turman is out for the year. Our team is not affected in one single way, in the slightest bit, by Rumph being hurt.

I'd give UGA the edge simply because they have a beastly running game, and the UGA o-line is better than the UT o-line.
It will still likely could be a close game, though. I don't expect our secondary to start off well.

I think their young D matches up alright against UGA, but their offense doesn't have the same strengths that SC used to exploit UGA... Much like UGA's offense didn't attack SC the same way A&M did.

Yea, I see an ugly win by 3 or so. Maybe down at half time.
Worley about to look like a Heisman candidate 3/4 the time while the other 1/4 he bites the curb.

We will definitely be ready but I'd feel a lot better about this game if our oline had a few more games under their belts. They haven't even gelled yet and they're YOUNG.
