Has Ole Miss EVER won a nonconference road game vs a ranked opponent?
I got to looking at this after hearing last night was the first time auburn had done it since 1983 and have gone back to 1990 and can't find shite for Ole miss. Any rebels know?
Tennessee's last one was 2003 @ #7 Miami then 1998 @ Syracuse
Other schools care to share their schools last nonconference road win over a ranked opponent?
I would imagine it's been awhile for schools such as MSU and UK as well, possibly Vandy but I'm not very familiar with their schedule over the last few years
Here is a nice little secret, Butch Jones has NEVER beaten a ranked opponent on the road, EVER. As a HC, he has ONE win vs. a ranked opponent in his entire career. Put that in your pipe to smoke.

Texas was right on the edge last year when we came to duke and made them cry.

What we DO have a full understanding of, is that we pretty much cherry pick the best football talent in the state of Tennessee(I know, not much there compared to the Sipp, but still) this year, and the Rebels are gonna annihilate the Vols in a month or so.

Answer
Arkansas 1990, granted they finished 3-8, but they were ranked at the time we upset them.

This is an odd time for this post. Has recruiting got you rustled?
Should've just held this one in your pocket until closer to our game with y'all. We've got other shite to worry about until then.

I know it's almost extinct on this board but is it possible that I started this thread out of pure curiosity and to gather info about history?
Look at my post history on the SECrant, almost no troll threads started by me
Idk why OM fans are acting so butthurt about this. Yes, y'all are doing well in recruiting vs us right now. Yes, you will likely beat us in a few weeks.
Why do y'all feel the need to be so defensive?

Because we can't answer the question with the answer that we want to, and constant reminders of our suckage is frustrating. For it not to be a troll thread, it sure looks like one.

I suppose you can believe it's a troll thread if it ll make you feel better but I assure you it isn't
ETA: also as I believe you said, if I wanted to troll with this I would've waited a couple of weeks

1990 Arkansas is the final answer.
