I am too. Asked a week or two ago and nobody seemed to have any. I know a guy here in Florida who I can buy 2 from but they're in section NN. I'm driving up from Central Florida so I'm gonna dish out the cash for tickets.
Made up my mind to go up to 200 per ticket, don't want to have to do that though.
What level is considered average to slightly good, and around how much should I be spending for them?

Holy shite if they're $200 a ticket I ain't going. I'm hoping I can get some day of for close to $100.

Me too, just saying that's my cutoff. I'm scared to see how much they are when I get up there.

You should be able to find some for around $100, and maybe even less, if you're patient. It sucks heading to town without tickets, but there are almost always people selling extras outside the stadium, and as kickoff approaches the prices start falling.
FWIW, there are several ads on Bham Craigslist for around $150 right now.

Damn, most of the upper level tickets are about the same but I'm pretty sure the lower ones you linked are considerably cheaper than the last time I looked.

Yeah I wasn't planning on going, but if ticket prices are that low I may reconsider if I can find some decent seats in the West stands(shade) for a decent price.
Just be careful on Craigslist. Buddy got burned with some fake tickets on there a few years ago. If the price is too good to be true, then....

Saw the way upper deck tickets for $98 on stub hub Tuesday night

Yeah there's a guy in my building trying to unload 2 end zone upper decks for face today. Guessing they'll be plentiful and reasonably priced on Saturday. If it wasn't supposed to be so hot, I'd come down, but I'm a wuss in the heat.

I bought 2 in NN on Row 3 for $105 and have seen several in the upper level from $75-150.
I like the upper level up to like Row15. IMO you can see the overview of the game a little better.

What are some tips to not get scammed when buying tickets outside the stadium on gameday?

If you are serious about buying, you can see if they will go with you to gate 3 or 32 to verify the tickets are legit. If they won't, don't buy them.

The tickets last year, you could take a coin and scratch the back of the ticket and the real ones would reveal a script A watermark
