So you're saying if we put the 7 pts back on the board from Gurley's run, and possibly score on first-and-goal, we still lose because of D? I'm not following that logic.

It doesn't work that way. You can't just say "well if we scored there, and made those 2 field goals, and scored there...we'd have won by 20!!"

Every single play alters the game. If Gurley had scored on that TD run, SC would have then adjusted their gameplan based on the score, the momentum, time left, etc.

The calls sucked...nobody will argue that. But to bitch about them is silly...like I said, you wanna bitch abt something...how bout the total and utter domination of our defense by USCe? Thats why we lost.
