I think we will operate at warp speed to begin the game and try to get the defense soften up some

I agree with this right here. A relative of mine today texted me some thoughts and observations about the offense and I will figure I will share them with the board.

In his words:

"I gotta tell you man what UF has shown on offense so far has looked nothing like what I have seen in practice and I have watched them in every practice. First of all, right now we are just running a no huddle not a hurry up. There is nothing really up-tempo about what we are doing at all. I've seen this team run up-tempo in practice and scrimmages and they are way faster then what they are doing now. They were going at Oregon and Auburn speed in practice. Next we haven't even really run the base plays I saw every time I went out there. RB slip screens, TE roll outs, Debose in the slot running the jet sweeps and hitch and curls (he must do that for about 20 snaps a practice) mesh routes (thats probably Ropers favorite play from what I seen) and some play action option packages. Driskel keeps the ball on about 70% of his zone reads and they used used to let the defense rattle his cage somewhat. Take it fwiw but in my personal honest opinion, there is a whole lot of deception and bluffing going on here if you know what I mean"

How much did Driskel struggling in the first half against UK limit the playcalling though?
