Well, it was a tough fight guys. I'm not here to talk much about the calls/no-calls and what ifs. We've all done that and will keep doing it because that's how this goes.
I'm sorry there wasn't more coverage - the weather delays and safety measures made it effectively impossible to snap many photos. The signal in Columbia is also (now I've learned) beyond worthless. The constant rain even when we were in the stadium made it very difficult to do anything in the stadium, either. I know we have at least 1 GoPro panorama early in the game that will go up whenever it does.
I got a chance to meet WG_Dawg around the third quarter when the band was temporarily evacuating (only to return moments later). He's a pretty cool guy. Would totally drink with.
As for the Dawgs, the band is just as much a part of the team as anyone and we want to win. In a game of literal inches, I'd love to see fans send the AD any comments they can come up with about their decision to not send the entire band. You never know - but I like to think if you quadrupled our amount of players in the stands - we might have gotten a better defensive stop at one point.
We're all a little depressed, and few are more spent than the 90 members that played their hearts out yesterday supporting the team. But, we have to look forward. Call it backing in, or what have you - but we still have a good team - and we can still make it to Atlanta. The year is still young, and we still have TEN games we need everyone's support for!
