There is a good story about ours.
Our 1st 1,000 yard rusher was Kevin Long in 1975... our 2nd 1,000 yard rusher was Clarence Williams exactly 1 game later.
2 1,000 yard rushers in 1 season.
eta: Long finished with 1,333, Williams with 1,073.

No offense, honestly. But how is that even possible? USC finished 7-5 with 2 1000-yard rushers with losses to (had to look it up) Appalachian State and Miami of Ohio??? What?

He went to my high school in Clinton. He was a great back, especially considering the surrounding cast was not that great then. J.D Fuller also went to this school 5 years later and is still the current leader at Carolina with the most tackles all time at 405.
