lol It doesn't take a Bobby Petrino to see Allen's passes to the outside have gotten picked off more than they should. Doesn't take someone who knows the difference between an out and a "round off" to see that ball thrown by Allen would have been jumped by a Bama or LSU DB.

Underthrow is preferable to an overthrow, obviously. But a throw on target that doesn't make your WR stop or come back is preferable to an underthrow - that concept isn't an advanced one either.

I think we all got spoiled by having Mallett zip the ball on a rope wherever it needed to go.

We are not often going to have a QB with that kind of arm strength.

Allen just needs to make good decisions, put the ball where the receiver can catch it, and not try to force anything.
