Sgt. Rusty Romine of the University of Alabama Police Department reported in court documents obtained by the Press-Register that he saw Upshaw chase down Grzyb and he then "grabbed (Kendall) Grzyb by the back of the neck and hair with his right hand and pushed her downward in what appeared to be an attempt to push her to the ground."
Romine's account goes on to say that Grzyb freed herself and "attempted to strike Upshaw about his face, however she was unable to make contact. Upshaw then grasped Grzyb's right arm by the forearm, released and then pushed Grzyb away."
At that time, Romine said he separated the two and Upshaw told him that Grzyb slapped him and walked away after seeing him talking to another female. The documents say Grzyb told Romine that "Upshaw followed her, grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her."
Not exactly the same story as your post. Where's your link?

Who cares if his crimewas violent? Dakota Mosley wasn't involved in any violence and he got 3 years in prison
The legal system in Tuscaloser is a joke if you are a bammer football player. Alabama has had at least 6 separate players charged with felonies under Saban. These charges include multiple counts of selling drugs, armed robbery, and 2nd degree burglary. All of these players served little or no jail time. If Aaron Hernandez was a bammer football player and committed his crimes in Tuscaloser, he would probably receive little or no jail time as well

Tray Matthews was charged with a misdemeanor and Nick Marshall wasn't officially charged with any crime. OTOH, Pettway's thug arse was charged with not just one but two felonies and had a 60k bond on his head. Let me know when you find a player playing for Auburn with those kind of charges. You will be looking a long time

Oh, I almost forgot to mention bammer taking Dee Liner after he was arrested 2 or 3 times in high school and at least temporarily kicked off his high school team
wasnt this one of auburns biggest recruits until near signing day. Did not see them turning him away.

Liner raised too many red flags for Auburn. Mainly that he wasn't that good.

He was really good at football and hadn't choked anyone to our knowledge. Not that hard.
So he was never a violent thug POS until he became a UGA football player?
